Basic Tests
1.
Use voltmeter to check that at least 12 volts is present directly across battery terminals. If it is not, test battery.
2.
Use voltmeter to check that at least 12 volts is present across terminal 30 on
starter motor and negative battery terminal.
3.
Use voltmeter to check that operating voltage is present on +50 terminal. If it is not, check wiring between battery and
starter motor.
