Shift Interlock: Service and Repair

NOTE: Component identifier numbers used in the following illustrations relate to specific steps in the procedures below.





Removal
1. Remove the floor and center consoles, refer to Body and Frame.
2. Release the wiring by snipping the cable ties.
3. Remove the 2 electro-magnet screws.

Installation
1. Slacken the electro-magnet's screws.
2. Measure the distance between the hook and pin when the hook is in the bottom position.
- The distance should be 1-2 mm.
3. Tighten the screws.
4. Install the electro-magnet and secure the wiring.
5. Install the floor and center consoles.
