Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

To Remove
1. Unplug the connector.
2. Remove the sensor, using a small screwdriver.

To Install
Install in reverse order.

NOTE: To facilitate fitting a new sensor, smear the hole in the rubber flange with a little petroleum jelly (Vaseline). Then start by using a screwdriver to pry up the groove in the rubber hose section so that the sensor's flange can be introduced into the groove. Following this, press the sensor hard inwards while rotating it at the same time.
