Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

To Remove
1. Remove the two engine covers.
2. Remove the rubber hose section in front of the throttle body.
3. Disconnect the crankcase breather hose.
4. Unplug the connector, remove the two retaining screws and remove the sensor.
Note the position of the O-ring.

To Install
1. Make sure that the O-ring is correctly positioned and install the sensor on the throttle spindle.
2. Plug in the connector and reconnect the crankcase breather hose.
3. Install the rubber hose section.
