Interior Lighting, Front Reading Lamps






1 In the event of a fault in any individual lamp, check the fuse and the bulb.
2 Unplug the switch from the interior lighting connector and ground pins 1 and 3.
3 If the lamps do not light up, check the wiring between the fuse and the lamps, and also between the lamps and the switch, for continuity/shorting.
4 Connect a jumper lead between pins 4 and 1 of the switch connector and also between pins 5 and 3. If the lamps light up, change the switch.
5 Check the wiring between pin 4 of the switch connector and pin 23 of the Integrated Central Electronics (ICE) module, and also between pin 5 of the switch connector and pin 46 of the ICE module, for continuity/shorting.
