Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

To Remove
1. Switch OFF the ignition.
2. Remove the cover panel over the bulkhead partition space.
3. Release the locking springs and pull the control module slightly upwards.
4. Disconnect the braided grounding strap and lift up the control module.
5. Undo the catch to release the connector and then remove same.

To Fit
Check the part number of the new control module against the number in the spare parts catalogue for the engine version concerned.
The refit the control module in reverse order.
Drive the car on test for adaptation of the new control module.
