Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair

To remove

1. Pull out the steering wheel to its outermost position.







2. Remove the steering column's protective cowls (3 screws).


NOTE Be careful when removing because there are 4 locking hooks in the lower cowl.


3. Pull out the stalk switch (2 clips).







4. Unplug the 10-pin connector.
5. Remove the switch.

To fit







1. Fit the switch in place.
2. Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 (part no.30 04 520) and plug it in.
3. Fit the cowls. Mind the hooks.







4. Adjust the steering column's protective cowls.
