NOTE The boost pressure is limited in reverse, 1st and 2nd gears on manual cars.
- If necessary, adjust MIU 2 (main instrument unit 2) with the diagnostic tool.


The APC valve can be activated with the diagnostic tool.
- Connect the diagnostic tool.
- Select "ACTIVATE".
- Select "SOLENOID VALVE".

Checking the wiring harness. Intermittent faults may occur in connection with short circuits and open circuits. Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in several directions to locate any problems in the wiring, including intermediate connectors. Observe the multimeter, scan tool or test lamp during the check.


IMPORTANT
The control module is probably damaged as well if one of the coils is short-circuited. If a new valve is fitted now, it will be ruined straight away. Consequently, in case of a short circuit, the valve and the control module must be replaced at the same time.


Change fuse 24 if necessary.
