To remove







1 Unplug the 10-pin ignition discharge module connector.
2 Remove the ignition discharge module (4 bolts)
3 Remove the spark plugs.

To fit







1 Check the electrode gap and adjust if necessary. Fit the spark plugs.
Tightening torque: 27 Nm (20 lbf ft)
2 Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 (part no. 30 21 763). Apply Krytox (part no. 30 19 312) to the rubber seals. Fit the module to the engine and tighten the bolts.
Tightening torque: 11 Nm (8 lbf ft)
3 Plug in the ignition discharge module connector.
