Checking the Wheel Speed Signal







- Drive forward slowly.







- CRUISE lamp should flash at rate corresponding with speed.

Is the function correct?

NO - Continue With Checking the Wheel Speed Signal

YES - Final Check












- Switch off the engine.







- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Connect BOB (Break Out Box) between CRUISE control module and CRUISE control module female connector.






















- Connect test lamp 86 11 857 to pin 10 of BOB and a good grounding point












- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Jack up the front of the car.
- Rotate front left wheel 0.5 rps.







- The test lamp should blink at 15 Hz.

Is the function correct?

NO - Checking the Wiring Harness

YES - Final Check
