Engine oil

Petrol engine (with and without turbocharger)

Saab "Turbo engine oil, Synthetic Blend" SAE 5w-30 or engine oil that fulfils the requirements of API SH/SJ and ACEA A3-98 with a viscosity SAE 5W-30. These should be completely or semi-synthetic. The lowest requirement for high performance engines is GM-LL-A-025/0W-40. At constant temperatures in tropical climates, use 10W-50 or 15W-50 that comply with the above requirements.

Saab advises against the use of additional additives.
