Keyless Entry Receiver: Description and Operation

Receiver For Remote Control

General
The remote control receiver has an integrated loop antenna and is available in three models (EU, US/CA, JP with additional external antenna) for frequencies: 433.92 MHz and 315 MHz. It is located between the front seats in the rear of the centre console and is powered by +30 from fuse 9 and further connected to the TWICE control module on the following pins;

Ground pin no. 13
Signal pin no.14

Function
The integral antenna receives the transmitted code signal from the remote control. The signal is processed and sent on to TWICE, which is programmed to identify the car's remote controls. If the correct signal is received, the command is carried out.
