An Important Note, Please Read First

ALLDATA Editor Note: A variety of data conflicts or variance exist in the manufacterer's presentation of the specifications for the component numbered 321 entitled EVAP Canister Purge Valve (321). It is not our attempt to explain their conflicts or interpret their data or reverse engineer their vehicles. It is our attempt to give you the ALLDATA customer the available data in a useable format that enables you to help your customers. Model years 1999, 2000 and 2001 show the type of valve as Freudenberg CPV 30C 4.0. Beginning with model year 2002, the type is shown as Bosch. Of the three images given for the one component, one image does not begin to appear until model year 2002.

One specific area of conflict or variance is the frequency while purging, it is shown as 16 Hz and also as 8 Hz. The frequency during tank integrity diagnosis is consistently shown as 8 Hz.
