Barometric Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Pressure Sensor, Atmospheric Pressure (539)

To remove
1. Remove the upper engine cover.







2. Carefully press down the catch with a screwdriver and unplug the connector from the sensor.







3. Loosen slightly the two bolts for the sensor mounting from the cylinder head and pull out the mounting to access the inner sensor screw.
4. Remove the sensor.

To fit
1. Fit the sensor to the mounting.







2. Tighten the mounting to the cylinder head.
3. Plug in the connector.
4. Replace the upper engine cover.
