Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.
Manuals through 2025 now available!

Our trusted friends have launched a new website named LEMON, which has newer manuals. It also contains all the CHARM manuals.

LEMON is the spiritual successor to CHARM, I recommend you try it!

AHL Control Module Calibration

AHL Control Module Calibration

The headlamp levelling system must be calibrated when the AHL control module or the front/rear load angle sensor is replaced. The system must also be replaced after the front or rear load angle sensor has been detached or removed.

Control the following points before beginning calibration.
- The car should be level.
- The car should be unloaded.
- Stabilise the suspension by rocking the car.
- The handbrake must not be applied.
- The Xenon lamps should be lit.

Connect the diagnostic tool and calibrate the AHL control module.

Check the function of the headlamps and clear any DTCs.

Check the light setting and adjust as necessary.
