Engine oil

Petrol engine (turbo): Saab "Turbo engine oil, Synthetic Blend" SAE 5w-30 or engine oil that fulfils the requirements of API SH/SJ and ACEA A3-98 with a viscosity SAE 5w-30. These oils must be fully or semi-synthetic. The minimum grade for high performance engines is Mobil 1, GM-LL-A-025 0w-40. At constant temperatures in tropical climates, use 10w-50 or 15w-50 that comply with the above requirements.

Saab advises against the use of additional additives.
