Ignition Discharge Module, Front

IMPORTANT: Before replacing the ignition discharge module, carry out Extended ignition discharge module diagnose for Trionic 7.

To remove







1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the ignition discharge module.
3. Unplug the ignition discharge module connector.

To fit







1. Coat the rubber seals with Krytox (part No. 30 19 312).
2. Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 contact cleaner (part no. 30 04 520). Plug in the connector.
3. Fit the ignition discharge module.
4. Fit the cover.
