Oil Level Sensor: Service and Repair

Level sensor, engine oil (243)

To remove
1. Remove the Oil sump.
2. Remove the wind deflector.





3. Remove the baffle plate.
4. Remove the circlip and press in the connector.
5. Remove the level switch from the oil sump.





To fit
1. Fit the level switch to the oil sump.





2. Fit the connector with a new O-ring lightly coated with Vaseline. Secure with the circlip.
3. Fit the baffle plate.





4. Fit the wind deflector. Fit Oil sump.
Tightening torque 10 Nm (7 lbf ft)
