To remove
1. Raise the car.
2. Remove the rear catalytic converter.
3. Remove the bracket between the front exhaust pipe and the engine using 32 025 061 Crow foot spanner.





4. Undo the cable fixing from the heat shield.





5. Remove the heat shield.
6. Unplug the crankshaft sensor connector.





7. Remove the sensor.

To fit
1. Fit the sensor using a new 0-ring lightly coated with acid-free vaseline.

Tightening torque 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)





2. Plug in the connector.
3. Fit the heat shield.





4. Secure the cable to the heat shield.
5. Fit the bracket to the engine and front exhaust pipe.

Tightening torque to engine: 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)

Tightening torque to exhaust pipe: 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)

Tightening torque to heat shield:
M6 = 9 Nm (6 ft. lbs.)
M10 = 38 Nm (28 ft. lbs.)





6. Fit rear catalytic converter using a new gasket.
7. Lower the car.
