Inner Cross-reinforcement

To remove

1. Drill out the spot welds on the cross-reinforcement.







2. Knock loose the cross-reinforcement.
3. Grind the surfaces to be welded.

To fit

1. Apply welding primer to the surfaces to be spot and plug welded
2. Put the cross-reinforcement in place.
3. Spot and plug weld the cross-reinforcement.







4. Smooth off the welds.
5. Remove any remaining welding primer. Welding primer reduces adhesion of paint, filler and sealant.
6. Apply primer to all bare metal surfaces.
7. Seal joints and seams with sealant.
8. Apply anti-corrosion agent after painting. Use Terotex HV 400.
