Fault symptoms
Main or dipped beam not working on one or both sides.










Diagnostic help
Check fuses 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 20 and 35 if they are fitted on your market.

The following values can be read with the diagnostic tool:
^ Light switch position 0
Should show ON if fuse 35 is fitted, light switch in position 0.
^ Light switch position 2 Should show ON when light switch in position 2.
^ Hazard flasher switch
^ Main beam relay
^ Dipped beam relay
^ Dipswitch

The following functions can be activated with the diagnostic tool:
^ Main beam relay
^ Dipped beam relay

Checking the wiring harness
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in several directions to detect intermittent open circuits and short circuits. Note the reaction of the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool during the check.
