Checking Intake System Integrity
Checking Intake System IntegrityLeaks in the intake and inlet system can be detected by spraying starter gas in strategic places. If there is a leak, the engine speed will increase slightly when the starter gas enters the system.
Check the following points for leaks:

hoses and hose connections

joints
^
throttle body.
