Control Module: Service and Repair
Changing Control Module, TCMTo remove
1. Remove the lower dashboard section by the passenger seat.
2. Remove the control module by releasing the catches and unplugging the connector.
Important: ESD-SENSITIVE COMPONENT Earth yourself by touching the car body before plugging in / unplugging components. Do not touch the component pins. Read Before changing a control module before changing a control module.
Fitting
1. Plug the connector into the control module.
2. Press the control module home so that the catches engage with it.
3. Refit the lower dashboard section by the passenger seat.
4. Perform Measures after chancing a control module.
5. If a new control module has been fitted it must be adapted.
