Auxiliary Blower Motor: Service and Repair



Auxiliary Blower Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement (Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement).




2. Disconnect the electrical connectors (4) from the blower motor-auxiliary (3).
3. Remove the air outlet duct from the blower motor-auxiliary.
4. Remove the screws (2, 5) from the blower motor-auxiliary.
5. Remove the blower motor-auxiliary (3).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the blower motor-auxiliary (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the retaining screws (2, 5) to the blower motor-auxiliary.

Tighten the screws to 10 Nm (88 in. lbs.).

3. Install the air outlet duct to the blower motor-auxiliary.
4. Connect the electrical connectors (4) to the blower motor-auxiliary (3).
5. Install the instrument panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement (Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement).
