Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner element. Refer to Air Cleaner Element Replacement (Service and Repair) for the 4.2L engine or Air Cleaner Element Replacement (Service and Repair) for the 5.3L engine.




2. Disconnect the washer hose (1) from the air inlet grille panel hose at the fender flange.




3. Disconnect the front washer pump hose from the washer pump (2).
4. Remove the front washer pump hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Route the front washer pump hose into the engine compartment.
2. Connect the hose to the front washer pump (2).




3. Connect the washer hose (1) to the air inlet grille panel hose (2) at the fender flange.
4. Install the air cleaner element. Refer to Air Cleaner Element Replacement (Service and Repair) for the 4.2L engine or Air Cleaner Element Replacement (Service and Repair) for the 5.3L engine.
