Throttle Position Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation
Accelerator positionAccelerator position The engine control system includes a pedal sensor which gives information on the position of the pedal. This information is accessible on the bus. Pedal position is given in %.
The control module uses information on the pedal position for controlling shifting points and the Lock-up function activation time.
