Transmission Support Replacement


Removal Procedure

1.Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2.Support the transmission with a transmission jack.





3.Remove the transmission mount to the transmission support retaining nuts.





4.Remove the lower transmission support to the frame mounting bolts.





5.Remove the upper transmission support to the frame mounting bolts (1, 2).

6.Remove the transmission support from the frame.

Installation Procedure





1.Install the transmission support to the frame.

Caution:Refer to Fastener Caution .

2.Install the upper transmission support to the frame mounting bolts (1, 2) and tighten to80 N �m (59 lb ft).





3.Install the lower transmission support to the frame mounting bolts and tighten to50 N �m (37 lb ft).

4.Lower the transmission onto the transmission support.





5.Install the transmission mount to the transmission support retaining nuts and tighten to46 N �m (35 lb ft)..

6.Lower the vehicle.
