Blower Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the right closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side).
2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) storage compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement (Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement).




3. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
4. Remove the blower motor mounting screws.
5. Remove the blower motor cooling tube.
6. Remove the blower motor (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the blower motor (2).
2. Install the blower motor cooling tube.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the blower motor mounting screws and tighten to 2 Nm (18 in. lbs.).
4. Connect the blower motor electrical connector.
5. Install the right closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side).
