Shift Interlock Solenoid: Service and Repair

BTSI Solenoid Location:

REMOVAL




1. Remove console.


2. Disconnect connector from BTSI solenoid.


3. Remove nut from BTSI solenoid and remove solenoid from shifter assembly.


INSTALLATION


1. Install solenoid to shifter assembly. Install nut to solenoid. Connect linkage to park lock lever, and tighten nut.


2. Connect BTSI connector.


3. Verify operation. Refer to "System Performance Test". Brake Transaxle Shift Interlock (BTSI) System Performance Test


4. Install console.
