COUPE

1. Rotate steering wheel until clamp bolt at lower steering column intermediate shaft joint is accessible.
2. Remove clamp bolt at lower steering column intermediate shaft joint, Fig. 6
3. Slide intermediate shaft off lower steering column.
4. Remove handwheel sensor from lower steering column support bracket by releasing both sensor locking tabs.
5. Rotate handwheel sensor 180° until electrical connector is easily accessible, then disconnect electrical connector from sensor.
6. Remove handwheel sensor.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Ensure electrical connector is facing up.
b. Torque intermediate shaft pinch bolt to 35 ft. lbs.
