Front Camber Adjustment

Rear wheel alignment must be set to specifications before front alignment adjustment.


1. Lock steering wheel in straight ahead position.
2. Loosen two strut to knuckle fasteners, then pull or push to adjust.
3. If more then 1.5 degrees or camber is desired, check for bent suspension components.
4. If suspension is ok, proceed as follows:
a. Raise and support vehicle.
b. Remove wheel assembly.
c. Remove strut to knuckle attaching bolts, then separate knuckle from strut bracket.
d. Using suitable file or grinder, remove material from strut bracket lower hole, (Figure 1).
e. To increase negative camber, remove from outside hole, to increase positive camber, remove from inside hole.
f. Torque strut to knuckle attaching bolts to 200 Nm (148 ft lbs).
g. Install wheel assembly, torque wheel lug nuts to 140 Nm (103 ft lbs), then recheck camber setting, lower vehicle.
