Air Bag Systems: Service Precautions

CAUTION: When performing service on or around SIR components or SIR wiring, follow the procedures listed in Air Bags Arming and Disarming to temporarily disable the SIR system. Failure to follow procedures could result in possible air bag deployment, personal injury, or unneeded SIR system repairs. Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming

CAUTION: To avoid deployment when troubleshooting the SIR system, do not use electrical test equipment such as a battery powered or AC powered voltmeter, ohmmeter, etc., or any type of electrical equipment other than that specified.
