FUNCTION:
This is the battery cable from the positive battery post to the underhood junction block ring terminal.

This cable supplies battery voltage to the underhood junction block. If the cable becomes disconnected, the car will not start and none of the electrical accessories will operate. If the cable is intermittent, the service engine soon telltale and the ABS warning telltale will both be ON.
