Initial System Diagnosis

^ Determine type of audio complaint.


^ Try to duplicate condition (listen to AM or FM, start vehicle, put in a good CD or cassette, test switches, etc.).


^ Refer to the "Hardware Symptom Table" for the appropriate diagnostic procedure(s) for hardware related failures or performance complaints.


^ If the CD Changer does not operate or the display is incorrect on the radio, before continuing with any diagnostics, press the clear button with a sharp pointed object to restore normal operation. The clear button is located on the front face of the CD Changer, just above the left side of the magazine load door.
