Inside Door Handle

REMOVAL

1. If equipped with power door locks, remove power door lock switch by prying at top of switch through notch with a small, straight screwdriver, with the blade covered with tape to protect surface. Remove connector position assurance (CPA) from connector and disconnect wiring
harness connector. Remove switch.

2. Remove screw, slide door handle assembly forward and pull outward. Using a long thin screwdriver, disengage lock. and latch rods from retainers. Remove handle assembly.


INSTALLATION

1. Position door handle assembly into trim panel. Tip handle outward at top. Lift latch and lock rods into retainers and latch retainer clamps. Push handle into trim panel and slide rearward to engage tangs. Install screw in handle. Tighten screw.

Torque: 2.5 N.m (22 in-lbs)

2. If equipped, connect harness to power door lock switch. Install switch into handle assembly, engaging lower tab first, then rotating toward handle to seat upper retaining tab.
