Service Information on Removal of I/P Upper Trim Panel Assembly

MODELS AFFECTED:
1995 Saturns

PURPOSE:
During removal of the I/P upper trim panel assembly, the I/P upper trim panel assembly may catch on the VIN plate, making removal difficult.





PROCEDURE:
To prevent the VIN plate from contacting the I/P upper trim panel assembly during removal, insert a trim tool or putty knife at the front of the VIN plate so that when you pull rearward, the panel will ride up and over the VIN plate.

IMPORTANT:
Use care so no damage is done to VIN plate or I/P upper trim panel assembly.
