Driver's Door Key Cylinder Switch


The driver's door lock key switch will lock or unlock the all the doors electrically.


In the LOCK position cavity C of the switch should have continuity to cavity B.


In the UNLOCK position cavity C of the switch should be open to cavity B.


In the UNLOCK position cavity A of the switch should have continuity to cavity B.


In the LOCK position Cavity A of the switch should be open to cavity B.


Interior Door Lock Switches


Make the following measurements across the switch with it disconnected. Continuity should exist between the terminals listed.

Repair / replace as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Door Lock Relays


The Lock, Unlock and DRL relays are interchangeable only with each other.


Replace as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Door Lock Motors


Check the connections at the motors.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.
