Left Side Body Splice Pack


Location: Left side under driver's seat.


The Left Side Body Splice Pack provides a ground path for the left side body harness. If one of the following systems is operating normally the ground circuit is most likely good.


^ Dome lamp


^ Doorjamb switch


^ Sunroof


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 550ZZ

Location: Connects left side body splice pack cavity H to body ground ring terminal.


Type: Black 15 gage wire.


Function: This circuit provides ground for the left side body splice pack.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 550A


Location: Connects the left side body splice pack connector cavity A to instrument panel junction block connector cavity D11.

Type: Black 18 gage wire.


Function: This circuit provides ground for the power door lock system.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.
