Power


Circuit 402


Location: Connects the underhood junction block connector cavity B to the instrument panel junction block connector cavity F5.


Type: Red 12 gage wire.


Function: This circuit provides power to the instrument panel junction block.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 740B


Location: Connects the instrument panel junction block connector cavity B6 to the cigar lighter system.


Type: Orange 18 gage wire.


Function: This circuit provides power to the cigar lighter.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 262/340M


Location: Connects the driver's door key cylinder switch to the door lock relays.


Type: Light Green (Circuit 262) or Orange (Circuit 340M) 20 gage wires.


Function: This circuit provides power to the driver's door key cylinder switch and signals the chime module when the door key is turned to the unlock position.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.

Circuit 340N


Location: Connects instrument panel junction block connector cavity D5 to left front interior door lock switch connector cavity B.


Type: Orange 22 gage wire


Function: This circuit provides power to the left front interior door lock switch.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.

Circuit 340P


Location: Connects instrument panel junction block connector cavity C5 to right front interior door lock switch connector cavity B.


Type: Orange 22 gage wire


Function: This circuit provides power to the right front interior door lock switch.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 194C


Location: Connects instrument panel junction block connector cavity E12 to right front interior door lock switch connector cavity A.


Type: White 22 gage wire


Function: This circuit provides power to the unlock relay coil when the door lock switch is pressed to unlock.


Cheek for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 195C


Location: Connects instrument panel junction block connector cavity A9 to right front interior door lock switch connector cavity C.


Type: Light Blue 22 gage wire


Function: This circuit provides power to the lock relay coil when the door lock switch is pressed to lock.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 195B


Location: Connects the driver's door key cylinder switch connector cavity C to instrument panel junction block connector cavity B12 to the door lock relay.


Type: Light Blue 22 gage wire.


Function: This circuit provides power to the lock relay coil when the door key is turned to the lock position.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.

Circuit 194F


Location: Connects the left front interior door lock switch connector cavity C to instrument panel junction block connector cavity Dl2.

Type: White 22 gage wire.


Function: This circuit provides power to the unlock relay coil when the door lock switch is pressed to unlock.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 195A


Location: Connects left front interior door lock switch connector cavity A to instrument panel junction block connector cavity A12.


Type: Light blue 22 gage wire.


Function: This circuit provides power to the lock relay coil when the door lock switch is pressed to lock.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 294J (Sedan and Wagon)


Location: Connects the right rear door lock motor connector cavity A to instrument panel junction block connector cavity F10.


Type: Tan 18 gage wire.


Function: This circuit sends a signal to the right rear door lock motor.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 295J (Sedan and Wagon)


Location: Connects the right rear door lock motor connector cavity B to instrument panel junction block connector cavity A10.


Type: Gray 18 gage wire.


Function: This circuit sends a signal to the right rear door lock motor.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.

Location: Connects the right front door lock motor connector cavity B to instrument panel junction block connector cavity D10.


Type: Tan 18 gage wire.


Function: This circuit sends a signal to the right front door lock motor.
