Sunroof Sunshade Replacement

SUNROOF SUNSHADE - SEDAN

REMOVAL

1. Remove sunroof glass assembly as outlined in "Sunroof Glass Assembly Removal" procedure.






2. Push sunshade slide blocks into sunshade to release them from the sunroof guide assembly on one side of sunshade. Remove sunshade out of roof opening.

INSTALLATION






1. Insert slide blocks on right side of sunshade into sunroof guide assembly.






2. Push sunshade slide block on left side of sunshade into sunshade to allow sunshade to drop into position. Once sunshade is in position, engage slide blocks into left guide assembly.

3. Slide sunshade back and forth to make sure it functions smoothly.






4. Install and adjust sunroof glass as outlined in "Sunroof Glass Installation" Procedure.

SUNROOF SUNSHADE - COUPE

REMOVAL






1. Remove sunroof glass assembly as outlined in "Sunroof Glass Assembly Removal" procedure.






2. Remove rear section of sunshade first by pushing in slide blocks to release them from sunroof guide assembly on one side of sunshade. Remove rear section of sunshade out of roof opening.

3. Repeat step 2 for front half of sunshade.

INSTALLATION






1. Install front half of sunshade first by inserting slide blocks on right side of sunshade into lower slide position of right guide assembly.






2. Push sunshade slide blocks on left side of sunshade into sunshade to allow front half of sunshade to drop into position. Once in position, engage slide blocks into lower channel of left guide assembly.

3. Push front half of sunshade to full forward position.

4. Position rear half of sunshade so that stop tabs are against stop bumpers on guide assembly. Engage right side slide blocks of upper half of sunshade into upper channel on right guide assembly. Engage slide blocks on left side of sunshade into upper channel in left guide assembly.

5. Slide sunshade back and forth to ensure it functions smoothly.






6. Install and adjust sunroof glass as outlined in "Sunroof "Glass Installation" procedure.
