Chime

The chime system provides audible warnings for an unbuckled lap belt, key-in-ignition reminder and a lights-on reminder. The chime system consists of a chime module (located in the instrument panel junction block), door jamb switches, an ignition switch with a key alarm switch, a rear defogger timer, a driver door key cylinder switch, and for vehicles with door locks, door lock/unlock control, and a delay dome lamp turnoff feature. Power to the chime system is supplied at all times.
