Function: This circuit supplies provides power to the ignition switch.

Type: Red 12 gage wire

Location: Connects underhood junction block connector cavity A to ignition switch connector cavity B.

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 3C

Location: Connects ignition switch cavity F to instrument panel junction block connector cavity F11.

Type: Pink 14 gage wire.

Function: This circuit provides power to the instrument panel junction block.

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 3B

Location: Connects instrument panel junction block connector cavity F10 to the underhood junction block connector cavity E3.

Type: Pink 14 gage wire.

Function: This circuit provides power to the underhood junction block.

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.

Circuit 239A/24C124A/24F/24H (Auto Trans only) and 239/24B/24A/24F/24H (Manual Trans only)

Function: These circuits provide power to the backup lamp bulb in the left Taillamp assembly through the backup switch.


Circuit 239, 239A

Location: Connects underhood junction block connector cavity B3 to backup switch connector cavity F (auto trans) and cavity B (manual trans).

Type: Pink 20 gage wire

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 24C, 24B

Location: Connects backup switch connector cavity E (auto trans) and A (manual trans) to underhood junction block cavity B11.

Type: Light Green 20 gage wire

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 24A

Location: Connects underhood junction block cavity C11 to I/P inline connector cavity M.

Type: Light Green 14 gage wire

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 24F (Sedan and Wagon)

Location: Connects I/P inline connector cavity M to left Taillamp assembly connector cavity E

Type: Light Green 22 gage wire

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 24E (Sedan and Wagon)

Location: Connects I/P body inline connector cavity M to the right Taillamp assembly connector cavity F.

Type: Light Green 22 gage wire.

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.
