Circuit 540


Location: Connects underhood junction block. connector cavity E2 to brake switch connector cavity A.


Type: Orange 20 gage wire


Function: This circuit provides power to the brake switch which when closed turns on the center high-mounted stop lamp and stop lamps.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.

Circuit 20G


Location: Connects brake switch connector cavity B to ABS system.


Type: Light Blue 20 gage wire

Function: This circuit supplies battery voltage to the ABS control module so that open or shorted stop lamp circuits can be detected. If a stop lamp circuit is OPEN, Circuit 20G will be pulled high. If a stop lamp circuit is SHORTED Circuit 20G will be pulled low. Either condition sets an ABS diagnostic flag.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.

Circuit 20H/20B


Function: These circuits provide power to the center high-mounted stop lamp bulbs.


Circuit 20H


Location: Connect brake switch cavity D to I/P body inline connector cavity C1.


Type: Light Blue 20 gage wire


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 20B


Location: Connects I/P body inline connect cavity G to decklid inline connector cavity A.


Type: Light Blue 20 gage wire

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.

Circuit 20F/20C and 20F/20E


Function: These circuits provide power to the left and right stop lamp bulbs in the rear turn/stop lamp assemblies.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.

Circuit 20F


Location: Connects brake switch connector cavity C to I/P body inline connector cavity K.

Type: Light Blue 20 gage wire


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.

Circuit 20C


Location: Connects I/P body inline connector cavity K to left rear turn/stop lamp assembly connector cavity D.


Type: Light Blue 20 gage wire


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Circuit 20F


Location: Connects I/P inline connector cavity K to right rear turn/stop lamp assembly connector cavity D.


Type: Light Blue 20 gage wire

Circuit 1040B


Location: Connects underhood junction block connector cavity A1 to turn/hazard switch connector cavity G.


Type: Orange 16 gage wire


Function: This circuit provides power to the turn/hazard switch.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.

Circuit 202


Location: Connects underhood junction block connector cavity A to ignition switch connector cavity H.


Type: Red 12 gage wire


Function: This circuit supplies battery voltage to the ignition switch.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.

Circuit 3C


Location: Connects ignition switch connector cavity F to instrument panel junction block connector cavity D8.


Type: Pink 14 gage wire


Function: This circuit provides power to the provides power junction block. This voltage powers the Turn Lamps.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.

Circuit 139


Location: Connects instrument panel junction block connector cavity C11 to turn/hazard switch connector cavity F.


Type: Pink 16 gage wire


Function: This circuit provides power to the turn/hazard switch.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.

Circuit 1508


Location: Connects turn/hazard switch connector
cavity E to instrument panel junction block connector
cavity D2.


Type: Light Blue 18 gage wire


Function: This circuit supplies battery voltage to the flasher module.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.

Circuit 16


Location: Connects I/P junction block connector cavity D4 to turn/hazard switch connector cavity D.


Type: Purple 18 gage wire


Function: This circuit provides power to the turn/hazard switch from the flasher module.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.

Circuit 1414


Location: Connects instrument panel junction block connector cavity C4 to I/P cluster connector cavity P.


Type: Light Blue/White 22 gage wire


Function: This circuit provides power to the I:P cluster left turn signal.

Function: These circuits provide power to the left front park/turn lamp bulb.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.
