Rear Suspension Strut

1. Proceed as follows:
a. Remove rear seat bottom cushion, then right and left interior rocker panel molding.
b. Remove left and right interior rear sail panel.
c. Fold down rear seats, then remove rear seat bolsters.
d. Remove cargo area package shelf attaching screws and carpet.
e. Remove speaker grilles and seat belt bezel, then separate belts from shelf.
2. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel assembly.
3. Loosen but do not remove steering knuckle to strut attaching nuts.
4. Using a floor jack, support knuckle, then remove upper strut attaching nuts.
5. Disconnect ABS electrical harness from strut.
6. Remove strut to knuckle nuts, then the strut.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten attaching nuts to specifications.
