Rear Cover
Disassemble1. Remove output shaft hub lip seal retainer, then remove lip seal.
2. Remove output shaft hub retainer, then remove hub.
3. Remove two input shaft hub attaching bolts, then remove hub.
4. Separate input tube and output tube from hubs by pressing tubes out of hubs by hand.
5. Inspect seal and O-rings for damage, replace as required.
Assemble
1. Position hub on support tool No. SA9136T-4, or equivalent, with threads facing upward.
2. Position sizer tool No. SA9136T-2, or equivalent, over hub, with large internal diameter facing downward.
3. Install expander cone tool No. SA9136T-1, or equivalent, to hub, then position lubed seal ring on cone.
4. Using pusher tool No. SA9143T or equivalent, install seal ring.
5. Remove expander cone from hub, then lift hub from support, remove sizer from support. Position hub with threads facing upward on tall support tool No. SA9136T-4, or equivalent.
6. Position sizer over hub with large internal diameter facing downward to size seal ring, lightly pushing until sizer tool bottoms out.
7. Position hub with threads facing downward on small support tool No. SA9136T-3 or equivalent.
8. Position sizer over hub with large internal diameter facing downward.
9. Install expander cone to hub, then lube and install seal ring to expander cone.
10. Using pusher tool No. SA9143T-2, or equivalent, install seal ring.
11. Remove expander cone from hub, then lift hub from support, remove sizer from support. Position hub with threads facing downward in short support.
12. Position sizer over hub with large internal diameter facing downward to size seal ring, lightly pushing until sizer tool bottoms out.
13. Install input shaft tube retaining pin, tube seal ring and input shaft tube O-ring.
14. Slide input shaft tube through hub, seating pin in hub slot.
15. Install output shaft tube pin, tube seal ring and O-ring.
16. Install output shaft tube hub O-ring.
17. Slide output shaft tube through hub, until pin is in hub.
18. Install new input shaft hub to end cover gasket.
