Valve Body

Disassemble

NOTE: During disassembly, care must be taken when removing valve body valves as these valve are not serviced separately except for the manual valve. Whenever the valve body is disassembled, new spacer gaskets must be installed.

1. Remove actuators as follows:




a. Remove actuator cover attaching bolts, as indicated by dark circles shown, then remove actuator cover.




b. Lift actuator connector plate form actuator pins, ensuring no connector plate damage.




c. Remove actuator by rotating as actuator is removed.




2. Remove valve body halves attaching bolt. Note check ball position.













3. Refer to these images for valve body disassembly.


Assemble
















1. Install valve gaskets and check balls as shown.




2. Install dowel bolts to connect valve body halves, ensuring proper valve body alignment.

3. Install actuators as follows:

a. Lube actuator O-rings.

b. Install actuators by rotating.




c. Check connect terminals using suitable 2.25 mm (No. 43) drill bit. Slight drag on shank should be indicated, if not, replace connector plate.

d. Align actuator pins to connector plate.

e. Install connector plate.




f. Clean and lubricate actuator cover attaching bolts with Dexron II or equivalent, then install and tighten actuator cover attaching bolts to specifications in sequence shown.
