Circuit 202/4/143


Function: These circuits provide power to the windshield wiper motor/control module through the ignition switch.


Circuit 202


Location: Connects the underhood junction block connector cavity A to ignition switch connector cavity H.


Type: Red 12 gage wire


Battery voltage should be present at all times.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 4


Location: Connects the ignition switch connector cavity U to instrument panel junction block connector cavity F12.


Type: Brown 14 gage wire


Battery voltage should be present with ignition in ACC and RUN.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.

Circuit 143


Location: Connects the instrument panel junction block connector cavity E12 to wiper module connector cavity E.


Type: Yellow 16 gage wire


Battery voltage should be present with ignition in ACC and RUN.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 92


Location: Connects the wiper module connector cavity C to column switch connector cavity E


Type: Purple 22 gage wire


Battery voltage should be present with ignition in ACC and RUN.


Function: This is the ground wire for the windshield wiper motor/control module in the MIST INT LO, and Wash speed positions.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 96


Location: Connects the wiper module connector cavity D to column switch connector cavity B.


Type: Brown 22 gage wire


Function: This is the ground wire for the windshield wiper motor/control module in the HI speed position.


Battery voltage should be present with ignition in ACC and RUN position.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.

Circuit 94A/94


Function: These circuits provide power to the washer pump.


Circuit 94


Location: Connects the wiper module connector cavity A to underhood junction block connector cavity C3.


Type: Fink 16 gage wire

Battery voltage should be present with ignition in ACC or RUN position and column switch on Wash.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.


If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 94


Location: Connects the underhood junction block connector cavity A3 to washer pump connector cavity 1.


Type: Pink 16 gage wire


Battery voltage should be present with ignition in ACC or RUN position and wiper switch on Wash.


Check for OPENS/SHORTS.


Repair as needed.
