Compressor Temperature Sensor

REMOVAL

IMPORTANT: Compressor temperature sensor has been deleted on 1995 interim compressors (P/N 2130825).

IMPORTANT: The air conditioning system does not have to be discharged to remove the temperature sensor.





1. Disconnect A/C compressor clutch electrical connector.





2. Remove wire retaining screw on compressor body.

3. Remove temperature sensor using temperature sensor wrench SA9149AC-1.

INSTALLATION





1. Install temperature sensor. Torque to specification.

Torque: 7.2 N.m (64 in-lbs)





2. Install the wire retaining screw on compressor body





3. Connect clutch electrical connector.
