Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair






REMOVAL
1. Turn ignition Off.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from inlet air temperature sensor.

NOTE: The connector must be removed by squeezing the sides. Apply pressure to sides of connector gently with pliers. Do not pull on wires.

3. Remove air inlet temperature sensor using a deep well 13 mm socket.


INSTALLATION

1. Install air inlet temperature sensor.

Torque to 5 Nm (44 in-lbs).


2. Connect electrical connector to the air inlet temperature sensor. Push in on connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
