Hydraulic Clutch Control System

NOTE: The clutch hydraulic system must be serviced as a unit; individual components, with the exception of the slave cylinder actuator pushrod retaining strap, cannot be replaced.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and block clutch pedal.
2. Remove air induction tube.
3. Rotate actuator 1/4 turn counterclockwise while pushing toward housing to disengage, then remove actuator from clutch housing.

CAUTION: Removal of hydraulic damper prior to actuator removal will result in a broken hydraulic line.

4. Remove hydraulic damper to clutch housing attaching nuts, then slide damper and bracket assembly from studs.
5. Remove clutch pedal pin to slave cylinder pushrod attaching clip, then disconnect pushrod from pedal.
6. Turn slave cylinder about 1/8 turn clockwise, then remove.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
